Everyone on their way to the festival enjoying the weather, their time, and looking forward to the festival they are about to attend.

Altamont was a free event so of course many were going to attend; 300,000 people attended this festival.

Some who attended the concert had good time, or it looks as if they were having fun.

Fans dance, do yoga, sing, and enjoy the festival.

More fans relax and wait for the Rolling Stones to perform.

Although Altamont had ended in catastrophe, the people, their clothing, and their body language in these photos still describes how free spirited they were.

Thousands of cars were parked along the Speedway.
